• How often should I schedule pest control service?

  Most homeowners benefit from quarterly treatments, but homes with severe infestations may need monthly service.

• Are your treatments safe for pets and children?

  Yes. We use EPA-approved products and apply them so they are safe for families and pets once dry.

• Why can't I just spray an over-the-counter product and eliminate my pest problem that way?

  While using an over-the-counter product may help stop a current pest problem, it will not help prevent against pest problems in the future. If you are not experienced in pesticides, applying treatment on your own can be very unsafe for kids, pets, or even adults if not handled properly. Also, in most cases, pests will return unless you take the appropriate measures to prevent them. In as little as 30 days you can start to notice new infestations if not treated properly.

• Why should I hire a professional Pest Control Company?

  By the time you're calling a Pest Control Company to get more information, you've probably already tried everything from over-the-counter methods to simple home remedies, only to find that pests are relentless! Most homeowners also lack the time and expertise to continuously treat the home to help prevent against pests. Here at Landlock, our entire team is trained and educated on how to help protect your home from the relentless pests, day in and day out!

• Do I need to leave while you guys are treating my home?

  No! A lot of customers actually prefer to be home while we're performing treatments so they can get a first hand look as to what we do while we're out there.

• After a treatment has been done at my home, how long will it take before we start seeing results?

  Upon completion of the Initial Treatment, in most cases, you'll start to see a significant reduction in pest activity within the first week. Depending on the type of pests and the amount of materials needed to treat for the pests, it's not unusual to see a gradual reduction in pest activity over the length of approx. 14 days.

• What is covered in the Quarterly Pest Control Service?

  Our Quarterly Pest Control Services help prevent against your general, and very common, household pests such as spiders, ants, flying insects, etc. We also offer treatments in the backyard for fleas and ticks if that's something you may be interested in.

• If you come out every 3 months, then what happens if I start seeing bugs before you come back?

  Here at Landlock, we know that every home is different and not one house is the same as the next. Because of this, we offer FREE, UNLIMITED Re-Services for all of our Quarterly Pest Control customers. If you ever notice anything in between your Quarterly Treatments, then just call us and we'll gladly get back out there to re-treat for you!

• Does Landlock also offer Mice or Rodent Treatments?

  YES! We do offer Mice and Rodent Treatments! Please let us know if you'd like us to add this to your Treatment Plan!

• How are pests getting into my home?

  There's often many areas around the exterior parts of the home that act as a pest attractant or areas that are conducive to pests. These could include, but certainly aren't limited to vents, windows, gutters, eaves, or debris and landscaping around the home, etc. While applying the treatment around the home, our technicians will also thoroughly inspect the exterior of the home looking for any problematic areas that could be drawing in more pests, as well as keeping an eye out for anything that should be brought to your attention as the homeowner.

• If I don't see any Termites, does that mean I don't have any?

  Since Termites live one to sixteen feet underneath the soil, we generally don't see them until it's too late. Termites live in colonies underneath the soil and travel to wood sources using a scent trail. It's recommended that you at least have an Annual Termite Inspection done on the home.
